Data sources

Our listings draw on publicly available sources such as public map services and official pharmacy registers for United Kingdom. Where sources conflict, we defer to the official register.

For United Kingdom, the official register is General Pharmaceutical Council.

Verification

Before going live, every listing runs through automated checks - address and postcode validation, coordinate sanity checks against the city area, phone number formatting and duplicate detection. Any listing that fails is held back until it's reviewed.

Updates

We regularly rebuild the directory and work to re-verify core details - hours, phone numbers, status - for each listing on a recurring schedule. Every pharmacy page shows the most recently verified data we hold.

Use of AI assistance

AI tools assist with some of the descriptive writing on this site, built on the factual data outlined above. Fields like addresses, opening hours, phone numbers and services always originate from the data sources, not from AI.

Corrections

If a listing looks wrong to you, get in touch with the details. Once verified, corrections are published in the next update. Owners can ask for changes to their own listing whenever they like.

Advertising and partner links

We do not accept payment to alter the facts in any listing. Any partner links present - for example to online pharmacy delivery services - play no role in how pharmacies are ranked or presented.
