Data and methodology

Chemist Prices pulls together publicly available information about pharmacies in United Kingdom. Below is where the data comes from and how we keep it accurate.

Sources

The directory draws on OpenStreetMap and other public listings, which we then organize into a uniform format with opening hours, contacts and services where the data allows.

Deduplication

A single pharmacy can show up across multiple sources. We merge these duplicates by location and name so every pharmacy ends up with one page.

How often we check

Data gets updated from time to time, and each pharmacy page shows when its information was last verified.

Coverage

Right now we list 20667 pharmacies spanning 1572 cities and towns in United Kingdom.
